To further promote high-quality and full employment among the Class of 2026 graduates, the Hebei Provincial Regional Spring Recruitment Fair for 2026 Graduates, together with the campus job fair of Shijiazhuang University for its 2026 graduates, was held at the Multi-functional Gymnasium on the university's South Campus on the morning of May 30. Yao Zenghui, Director of the Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Center of Hebei Provincial Department of Education, visited the site for guidance. All university leaders toured the fair, communicated cordially with participating employers, and encouraged graduates to seize opportunities and pursue jobs actively. Leaders of all schools and departments, counselors for graduating classes, as well as the 2026 graduating students attended the event.
Nearly 200 high-quality employers took part in the job fair, covering various sectors including information technology, education and training, intelligent manufacturing, commerce and circulation, construction engineering and more, offering over 4,400 job vacancies in total. Among the participants were 29 large enterprises with a staff of over 1,000 employees, and 25 renowned benchmark enterprises such as China Top 500 Enterprises, Industry Top 500 Enterprises and listed companies. Industry leaders including Jinmailang, Nice, Chery Automobile and Hebei Yanshan Iron & Steel Group brought premium positions to the fair, providing graduates with diverse career options.
As the Shijiazhuang special session of the provincial regional spring recruitment campaign for college graduates of 2026, this job fair gave full play to regional linkage effects. Besides students from Shijiazhuang University, nearly 2,000 job seekers from many other universities across Hebei Province, such as Hebei GEO University, Hebei University of Science and Technology and Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, also came to attend. The venue was bustling with activity. Graduates took the initiative to communicate with recruiters and submit resumes. Statistics show that a total of 1,426 resumes were collected at the fair, with 597 candidates reaching preliminary employment intentions and 213 securing internship opportunities, marking remarkable results in talent matching.
To ensure the smooth running of the event, functional departments including the University Career Service Center, General Administration Office, Logistics Management Department, Security Department, Academic Affairs Office and Publicity Department made thorough advance plans and coordinated closely to complete venue arrangement, security work, publicity and other preparations with high standards. All schools and departments also carried out pre-event services such as employment mobilization and resume guidance to help graduates get fully prepared for job hunting. Special service zones for policy consultation, resume revision, university-enterprise docking and presentation reservation were set up on site, delivering one-stop full-process employment services and effectively improving graduates' job-hunting experience and the success rate of talent matching.
This job fair is a key activity of the university's 2026 "Employment Promotion Month" series, as well as an important measure to implement the employment-first strategy and advance high-quality and full employment for graduates. In recent years, the university has always prioritized graduate employment work. It continues to deepen university-enterprise cooperation, expand employment channels and optimize employment services, striving to build an all-staff, whole-process and full-coverage employment service system. The university keeps improving its employment work and contributes more high-quality applied talents to the economic and social development of the region.
