On the morning of May 19, the unveiling ceremony for the Qingxian Equipment Manufacturing Industry Innovation Research Institute of Shijiazhuang University was held at the Qingxian Innovation & Sharing Center for the Development of New Quality Productive Forces. Feng Baoqiang, Vice President of Shijiazhuang University, and Li Jianchuan, Executive Vice County Magistrate of Qingxian People's Government, attended the ceremony. Present at the event were relevant officials from the University's Research Department and School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, leaders of Qingxian Bureau of Science, Industry, Information Technology and Commerce, Qingxian Economic Development Zone Administrative Committee, Cangzhou Electronic Chassis Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from local enterprises. The ceremony was presided over by Fan Yuhe, Deputy Director of Qingxian Bureau of Science, Industry, Information Technology and Commerce.

Feng Baoqiang extended gratitude to leaders at all levels and people from all walks of life in Qingxian for their long-term care and support for the university's development, and congratulated the institute on its establishment. He noted that the university adheres to the school-running philosophy of "Local Orientation, Application Focus and International Vision". In recent years, remarkable progress has been made in integrating industry with education, building scientific research platforms and cultivating application-oriented talents. The joint establishment of the research institute marks a major move for the university to deepen university-local government cooperation and integrate scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation. Taking the institute as a new starting point, the university will further advance collaborative innovation between the university, local authorities and enterprises, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and better serve the high-quality development of regional industries.

In his speech, Li Jianchuan welcomed the delegation from Shijiazhuang University and briefed attendees on the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in Qingxian. He stated that Qingxian boasts a solid foundation and distinctive features in the electronic chassis industry. The launch of the research institute will effectively connect the university's scientific research resources with local industrial demands, injecting new impetus into industrial transformation, upgrading and high-quality development.

At the ceremony, Li Jianchuan and Feng Baoqiang jointly unveiled the plaque of the Qingxian Equipment Manufacturing Industry Innovation Research Institute of Shijiazhuang University and presented the appointment letter to the institute director. Shi Yuanping, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Chen Xin, Director of Qingxian Bureau of Science, Industry, Information Technology and Commerce, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of the two parties.

 

After the ceremony, the institute held its first technology demand docking meeting between the institute and enterprises. Afterwards, Feng Baoqiang and his entourage conducted field investigations at Qingxian Zeming Langxi Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. and Hebei Tengyao Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd.
