On May 20, the 2026 "Intelligent Creation - Quality Aesthetics" Graduation Exhibition of our university’s School of Fine Arts and Design opened at Shijiazhuang Art Museum. Invited guests attended the opening ceremony, including Wang Tingshan, President of Hebei Association of Higher Education and former Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education; Jiang Shiguo, Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Design, Hebei Communication University; Zhang Zhijun, Party Secretary and President of Hebei Painting Academy; and Tan Haonan, Vice Chairman of Hebei Artists Association, as well as other leaders and guests from the Hebei Artists Association, universities across the province, Shijiazhuang Art Museum, Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. and Bosheng Co., Ltd.Chen Liang,Secretary of the University Party Committee; Wang Yongqin, President; Li Juan, Vice President; Li Huilin, Secretary of the University Commission for Discipline Inspection, attended the event, along with heads of relevant functional departments of the university, the leading team of the School of Fine Arts and Design, as well as graduation project supervisors and all graduates of the Class of 2026.
Chen Liang declared the official opening of the "Intelligent Creation - Quality Aesthetics" Graduation Exhibition of the School of Fine Arts and Design, Class of 2026.
In her address, Wang Yongqin briefly introduced the university's educational development overview, and pointed out that as a dynamic college within the university, the School of Fine Arts and Design has innovated its talent cultivation model and achieved fruitful outcomes. She encouraged graduates to take this exhibition as a new starting point, adhere to their original artistic aspirations, dare to break new ground, depict wonderful lives with paintbrushes and illuminate their lives with design.
Wang Tingshan and Jiang Shiguo both delivered speeches, giving full recognition to the quality of the exhibition and the talent cultivation outcomes of the college. They emphasized that art education must adhere to its humanistic foundation, cultivate aesthetic sentiment amid the wave of technological development, cultivate multifaceted talents integrating humanistic literacy, innovative thinking and practical capabilities, and facilitate the high-quality development of higher art education.
Li Xueshan, Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Design, introduced the college's development ideas, the fundamental concept of this exhibition and the characteristics of the exhibited works, and encouraged graduates to uphold the original aspiration of "upholding art and pursuing innovation", empower daily life with creativity, and give back to society with design.
Li Zhanbin, Member of the Party Committee and Chair of the Labor Union of the Operation Branch of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Group, spoke highly of the outcomes of the university-enterprise cooperation. He noted that five series of works from the Visual Communication Design program have been adopted by Shijiazhuang Metro, which represents a vivid practice of industry-education integration and has injected youthful vitality into the cultural and creative upgrade of the metro. He expressed expectation for continuous deepening of bilateral cooperation to comprehensively empower the cultural development of the beautiful provincial capital through design innovation, and proposed that the design works be exhibited in various metro stations after the closing of this exhibition.
Zhang Yubo, on behalf of all graduating students, recalled his four-year campus life with deep affection and expressed gratitude to the university and all faculty members. He stated that the graduation works embody students' observations of life and explorations of innovation, and carry the original aspirations and reflections of young designers. In the future, they will take design as their wings to pursue their dreams and live up to their youth. Yao Peng, as the teacher representative, delivered a message to all graduates, encouraging them to maintain pure passion and innovative courage, and manifest the core value of art and design in their future professional paths.
At the exhibition, the attending leaders and guests presented award certificates to students who won prizes for their graduation works.

After the opening ceremony, the attendees stopped to view each exhibit and inquired in detail about the creative concept, design thinking and production process of the works. They spoke highly of the overall standard of the exhibition, the creative expression and professional quality of the exhibits, and fully recognized the graduates' sharp innovative thinking, solid professional foundation and strong sense of social responsibility. Attendees reached a consensus that this exhibition closely follows the theme of "Intelligent Creation - Quality Aesthetics" and fully reflects the talent cultivation characteristic of art-engineering integration and interdisciplinary intersection of the college. The exhibited works are rooted in tradition, close to life, and imbued with contemporary momentum and humanistic warmth. The works are particularly outstanding in highlights such as green and sustainable design, digital intelligent application, and urban cultural inheritance. Invited enterprises expressed strong interest in the graduates' works and innovative thinking, put forward cooperation intentions, and extended job interview invitations to graduating students.


This exhibition collectively showcases the talent cultivation achievements of the College of Fine Arts and Design, as well as the artistic talent and innovative spirit of its young students. It also builds a communication platform for university-local collaboration and industry-education integration.
